Ingredients

1 ¾ cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup chopped candied cherries
½ cup chopped nuts
1 cup moist coconut
½ cup butter
¼ cup sugar
½ tsp almond extract
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg whites
3 Tbs milk

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add extracts and milk. Add sifted flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Add cherries, nuts, and coconut and mix well. Flod in stiffly beaten egg whites. Drop by teaspoons full on greased cookies sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for about 13 – 15 minutes. Store in air-tight container.
