Janet’s Brown Sugar Drops

Ingredients

1 cup butter
½ cup brown sugar, packed lightly
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups sifted flour
¼ tsp salt
1 cup pecans, chopped
½ cup candied cherries, cut into small pieces

Instructions

Cream butter; add sugar gradually. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Blend in remaining ingredients. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 – 18 minutes.

Makes about 5 1/2 - 6 dozen 1x
